Meet Chef Kim

Raised on a farm in Ontario, Chef Kim developed an early connection to seasonal ingredients and a love of growing food. She built her culinary career in acclaimed kitchens across Canada, refining her passion for gourmet, terroir-driven cuisine. After meeting her husband, Mark, on the West Coast, they settled in Musquodoboit Harbour in 2015, where they now raise their two boys and bring Kim’s vision to life through Lupin Dining & Pantry.

How does the co-branding process work?

Once you select your product, our design team works with you to integrate your logo onto our packaging or labels. We ensure the final product adheres to both our brand standards and your visual guidelines.

Is there a minimum volume for co-branded orders?

Yes the MOQ is 500 units.

Why choose co-branding over a standard wholesale order?

Co-branding turns a product into a "limited edition" collaboration. It prevents price-shopping and makes your gift boxes or corporate offerings feel exclusive and impossible to find elsewhere.

Can we co-brand seasonal items?

Absolutely. Our seasonal "Chef’s Specials" are highly sought after for co-branded holiday hampers. We recommend booking these 6–8 weeks in advance due to high demand.

Do you offer samples for new accounts

Absolutely. We understand that tasting is believing. Reach out to wholesale@lupindining.ca to request a sample.

What products are available for wholesale?

We offer a selection of Lupin Pantry products for wholesale, including preserves, condiments, sauces, snacks  and other small-batch pantry goods. Product availability may vary seasonally and by production schedule.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes — our minimum wholesale order is $250 or 1 full case, depending on product format and order type. Full case quantities and minimums will be outlined in our wholesale price list along with ordering information.

Do I need to order by the box or case?

Yes — wholesale orders are typically sold by box (12 units) and case (48 units) quantities. Some box quantities may vary by product and will be listed on our wholesale price list.

Where do you ship wholesale orders?

We currently deliver and ship wholesale orders throughout Nova Scotia, with plans to continue expanding across the Maritimes and Canada. If you are located outside our regular delivery area, feel free to reach out and we can discuss options.

How are shipping or delivery costs calculated?

Shipping and delivery costs are based on order size, destination, and delivery method. We will confirm applicable shipping or delivery charges when your order is placed.

How long does it take to receive a wholesale order?

Wholesale orders typically ship within 3 business days, depending on product availability and production timing. Larger or custom orders may require additional lead time.

What are your payment terms?

We currently accept payment by e-transfer or cheque. Approved wholesale accounts are offered 20-day payment terms unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Do you charge interest on overdue invoices?

Yes — overdue invoices are subject to 1.3% daily interest until payment is received, as outlined in our wholesale policy.

Do you offer local delivery?

For some wholesale accounts, local delivery may be available depending on location and order size. We can confirm delivery options when setting up your account or processing your order.

Can I reorder through your website?

We encourage all wholesale accounts to register for an account on our wholesale portal, where you can place orders and view past order history.

Do you offer exclusivity by region or retailer type?

We consider exclusivity on a case-by-case basis. This depends on location, product fit, account volume, and the overall alignment of the partnership.

Are your products shelf-stable?

Yes — our pantry products are shelf-stable when unopened. Each product is labelled with a best-before date and storage guidance. Once opened, products should be refrigerated and used within the recommended timeframe.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Shelf life varies by product. Each item is clearly labelled with a best-before date. If you have questions about shelf life for specific items before ordering, we’re happy to provide more details.

Do your products include ingredient and allergen information?

Yes — all products include ingredient information on the label. Retailers are encouraged to review product details carefully and reach out with any questions regarding allergens or dietary considerations.

Are your products vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free?

Many of our products are naturally vegetarian or vegan, and many are made without gluten-containing ingredients. However, not all products meet the same dietary criteria, and none are currently certified gluten-free unless otherwise stated.

Do your products have barcodes and retail-ready labels?

Yes — our products are labelled and retail-ready for store shelves. Please contact us if you need specific product information, case details, or barcode support.

Do you provide product photos or marketing materials?

Yes — we’re happy to provide select product photography and brand assets to approved wholesale partners for marketing and in-store promotion, where available.

What if a product arrives damaged or there is an issue with my order?

We take great care in packing and preparing each wholesale order. If there is an issue with your shipment, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photos where applicable, and we’ll work with you to resolve it.

Can seasonal products be ordered year-round?

Some of our products are seasonal or produced in limited quantities, so availability may change throughout the year. We recommend reaching out early if there is a specific product you’d like to plan around.

Do you work with restaurants, cafés, or hospitality businesses?

Yes — in addition to retail partners, we’re happy to connect with restaurants, cafés, and hospitality businesses interested in using or carrying Lupin Pantry products.
